The panoramic views from Bella Villa Messina's commanding estate are magnificent, overlooking more than 400,000 acres of the picturesque Sonoma County Wine Country. All of this just 1 hour and 15 minutes north of San Francisco, and only minutes from the shops and services of charming Healdsburg and Santa Rosa.

Then there are the little things. Enjoying yourself is easy when you have goose-down comforters, fine linens, bath robes, and private baths, TVs with VCRs, Jacuzzi tubs, fireplaces and phones. Not to mention the tantalizing aromas that waft up to your room each morning as your superb Sonoma breakfast is being prepared. The Inn has 5 rooms available, each with unique features, Jacuzzis, king & queen bed, fireplaces and special views.

Our villa is only a short drive from the Giant Redwoods, the Russian River and the Sonoma Coast. There are also over 50 nearby wineries, many of which offer complimentary tasting of their quality wines.

Here at Bella Villa Messina we have found that having personal contact with our guests from the start can help to insure a memorable stay at our establishment. Therefore we prefer to make all reservations by phone.

Innkeepers, Jerry & Harold, transformed this private residence to a warm, beautiful eclectic Bed & breakfast Inn. It was built on the Simi Reservoir in 1886, and then transformed in 1986 into a private residence. The inn is filled with art and antiques for your enjoyment. Breakfast is a superb full breakfast and wine and cheese in the early evening to share with guests. The Villa in addition has 2 llamas, Cancun & Zorba as well as Bernice, Brindle, Baesel, the westie and cairn terriers, who are the official welcoming committee.

A delicious full breakfast is served from 8:30 - 10, earlier only by request, in the beautifully appointed dining room with spectacular views. Cocktail hour is accompanied by wine & cheese for all guests to share.

For single rooms, cancellations must be made at least seven (7) days prior to arrival. If reservations are made for more than one room, seven (7) additional days notice prior to arrival are required per room. For example, if you have reserved 3 rooms, you must cancel your reservation twenty-one (21) days prior to arrival. If the cancellation is made after the required date for whatever reason, a refund is only made if we are able to rebook the room(s). There is a $25 cancellation fee for each room.
